Spacious villa in a natural setting near the sea. Wheelchair accessible.

Set within a short distance from the lovely town of Nerja (2.5 km), Villa El Crucero is one of our favourite properties. This villa is based on a 100-year-old typical "Cortijo" (traditional rural Andalusian property with wide stone walls cool in summer and warm in winter) completely refurbished in 2014. The long sandy beach of Playazo is only 1 km away, easily reached on foot.

Villa El Crucero is located in a peaceful and very private 10,000 square meters' fruit farm with exotic trees including bananas, avocados, mangos and cherimoyas among others. The villa is ideal for families and groups of up to 10 people who want a relaxing holiday in a natural setting with great views to the mountains and the sea. Free WiFi Internet is included in the price for those that need to stay connected to the outside world.

The pictures do not do enough justice to this amazing villa once which you enter by its electric gate to the large parking area (up to 4 cars). The whole property (inside and outside) has been designed to provide easy access on foot or by using a wheelchair, ideal for families with disabled or elderly members. We are fully aware how hard is to find a place that fits everyone's needs, including families with babies!

There are various terraces at the back and the front of the villa, leading to the covered BBQ area located next to the 2 salt-water pools, outside toilet and sun-bathing area. The main pool is 10 metres long, ideal for those who want to play or swim, while the smaller pool can be used as a jacuzzi (heated on demand), great for the evenings and amazing in the winter months.

The living space inside Villa El Crucero consist of the main house and a self-contained apartment.
In the main house, you can find a large living room (with open fireplace), an open plan kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a toilet. One of the bathrooms is adapted for wheelchair access. There is air conditioning (hot/cold) in the main bedroom.

The separate self-contained apartment is in the ground floor with a kitchenette, a bathroom and twin beds. There is air conditioning in the apartment.

After walking miles in Nerja and the surrounding areas, you can relax in the comfortable sofa in the living room watching TV. The kitchen is very well equipped. The main kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and various utensils.

Villa El Crucero is the perfect location for a short holiday or a longer-term stay. It offers everything you need for relaxation and if you want to enjoy the restaurants, shops and beaches of the city, all that is within a short distance from the villa.

Villa el Crucero is a wonderful property, it is located in a vast plantation providing a tranquile ambient and is also generously equipped with everything you might think of, the pool and jacuzzi are the best we saw, very large and beautiful. The owners are extremely responsive and helpful, they helped with every question and request we had Private Feedback: We loved everything about this property, from the location , the plantation around it and the villa itself which had everything we dreamed of. But to top it all, Pepe was great assisting with everything in real time and always with a big smile and kindness, certainly a unique combination of beautiful property and beautiful people which made us like it so much!
