Description

Villa Cornocalejo is situated in a prime location for those people that love sun, fresh air and amazing views within a very private area. The villa is all in one level with steps down to the swimming pool or up to the roof terrace. It is a self-catering property with a great BBQ ready for all types of outdoor meals. In its traditional Spanish style, the villa has been built and decorated to high standards. It offers full TV and stereo/CD.

The kitchen, living room and dining area are in open plan. The kitchen has a bar area ideal for serving drinks and 3 bar stools. It comes with electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. There is WiFi Internet and Air Conditioning (hot/cold) included in the price. The living rooms has very comfortable sofas and a large TV with English channels. The dining room has a wooden table with 6 chairs.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for 6 people. The master bedroom has a double bed and we can fit a small bed for a child or a baby cot. The other bedrooms have two single beds. We can provide a high-chair for a baby if required. There is TV in some of the bedrooms. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and wardrobes. Its walls are made of stone and are 1 meter wide, making the villa very fresh in summer. There is an air conditioning in all bedrooms and the living room.

Outside of the main door, there is a covered porch with tables and chairs, ideal for meals with a view!

There is a 28 sqm. swimming pool with sunbeds and external shower for those hot days under the Spanish sun. There are a few steps to access the swimming pool. There is a gate with lock to stop children from going down the steps leading to the swimming pool.

There is an excellent BBQ outside with a sink and water and area for preparing food. There are several outdoor tables and chairs and a chair-swing next to an olive tree that is more than 100 years old!

The roof terrace offers even better views and is very spacious for those private sun-bathing moments.

The property is next to an orchard of avocado trees which makes it feel closer to nature with splendid views of the mountains behind Nerja.

The whole place is very quiet, away from noisy restaurants which allows you to listen to birds and the cicadas during the summer.

The owner Antonio is responsible for cleaning the swimming pool if it gets dirty. Our agent Maribel lives in town and will be available for anything you might need. We do not provide beach towels, however we could rent them to you if required. We also rent bicycles with chairs for children (optional)

The villa has beds for six people, but if your group is larger, rent also Villa Jeromo which is located next door to give accommodation for up to 12-14 people. Villa Cornocalejo offers a unique atmosphere you will never forget, and you'll want to return again!

The villa is located in the countryside, but the distance to the center of the town of Nerja is only 1,2 km. Very peaceful area with great mountain views and partial sea views.

We stayed at the Villa in September 2015, for 10 days and so enjoyed the private location and short walk in to Nerja in the evenings. The facilities also allowed us to spend a few nights dining alfresco as, while watching the sunset. Highly recommended. Already booked for 2016!
